The terms and the data processing agreement for an outbound package with CupidKnows, in plain words. The payment card's checkbox accepts this version.

Who we are

CupidKnows is run by Cupid Solutions (CVR 43973746), Aalborg, Denmark. In these terms “we” means Cupid Solutions and “you” means the business that accepts them.

Businesses only

We work only with businesses. By accepting, you confirm that you act for a business, not as a consumer, and that you may bind it.

The package

One engagement is one outbound package: new sending domains and fresh mailboxes set up and warmed up for 3 weeks, leads found and verified, research and a 3-email sequence written for every lead, a 4-week campaign, replies handled, weekly reports and a final report.

The proposal you approved sets the markets, the volumes and the plan. The payment card shows what's included and the dates if you pay that day.

One price, paid up front

The price on the payment card is one price for the package, in US dollars, paid in full before we start. A price is valid for 14 days from your approval.

Danish businesses pay 25% Danish VAT (moms) on top. EU businesses outside Denmark with a VAT number the EU's VIES register confirms are invoiced under the reverse charge. Businesses outside the EU pay no Danish VAT.

Card payments go through Stripe. We never see or store your card details. You get an invoice for every payment.

The allowance and your wallet

Part of the price is an allowance for what the work uses: leads, research and writing, the sending setup and a reserve. What isn't used, with its share of our fee, comes back to you as wallet credit after the final report. The difference between the payment-processing line and the fee Stripe actually charges goes to your wallet too.

Wallet credit lasts 12 months and is used first on your next engagement. Within 30 days of a final report you can ask for it back to the card you paid with instead.

Refunds

  • Before we make the first purchase for your engagement (domains, inboxes or leads), you can cancel and get the whole payment back. We absorb the card fee.
  • If we cause a shortfall (fewer leads contacted than promised, a launch that fails, or our own safety stop), we refund the unspent allowance and the fee's share for what's missing, automatically.
  • If you cancel after the first purchase, what's unspent becomes wallet credit. There's no cash refund for that part.

Sending in your name

You authorise us and our sub-processors to send the emails you approved, and to answer replies within the scope you approved, in the name of the sender you name. They go out from the mailboxes we set up for you, as the named sender personas you approve: the names and signatures those mailboxes send as. Each persona is a real person at your business who agrees to it, shown with your business's real address. You confirm that person agrees, and they confirm it with a code sent to their own work email before anything launches.

You give this permission by accepting these terms, so nothing about it waits on a person on our side. Nothing goes out before you approve it, and you can ask us to pause at any time.

Sending domains on your brand

To protect your main domain, we register new sending domains for this engagement: your brand plus one plain word, .com only (for example yourbrandhq.com), never your own domain or a subdomain of it. You authorise us to register them through our mailbox provider, to set up fresh Google Workspace mailboxes on them and to point each one at your website. We never use pre-warmed, aged or bought-in reputation domains or mailboxes.

We use these domains only for your campaigns. We hold them for their year; at the end the mailboxes are cancelled and the domains lapse, unless you ask to take a domain over (a domain can move once it is at least 60 days old).

How AI is used

We use AI models to research leads and to write the emails, and automated checks review every email before it can go out; nothing is sent before you approve it. AI can make mistakes: our checks catch most of them, not all.

What we ask of you

  • Tell us the truth about your company and your offer.
  • Only give us material you have the right to share.
  • Don't ask us to send anything misleading or unlawful.
  • Follow up on the replies and meetings that come your way.

Results

We tell you honestly what we expect. Estimates aren't guarantees: replies and meetings depend on your market, your offer and timing.

Liability

Our total liability for an engagement is limited to the price you paid for it. We aren't liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit or lost business. Nothing here limits a liability the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Stopping

You can pause or stop at any time: new sends stop right away, and the refund rules above apply. We may stop an engagement if continuing would break the law or these terms, or if a payment is disputed.

Data processing agreement

For the leads and the emails we send for you, you are the controller and we are your processor. For your own account, we are the controller, as our privacy policy describes.

  • What we process: the business contact details of the leads (name, work email, role, company and public professional information), the emails and the replies, to run your campaign and for nothing else.
  • Instructions: we process only on your documented instructions, which are the proposal and the plan you approved.
  • Confidentiality and security: only people who need access have it, under a duty of confidentiality; data is encrypted in transit and access is controlled.
  • Sub-processors: Stripe (payments), Smartlead (sending), Cheap Inboxes and Google (the sending domains and mailboxes), OpenRouter (AI models), Apify (lead sourcing and research), Resend (email notifications), and Lovable and Supabase (hosting and the database). We tell you before we add or replace one, and you can object.
  • Transfers outside the EU and EEA rely on an adequacy decision (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified) or on the provider's standard contractual clauses. One is still open: Cheap Inboxes (United States) publishes no data processing agreement, and the agreement and the transfer basis with it are still to be signed.
  • People's rights: we help you answer their requests, and anyone who opts out is never contacted again.
  • Breaches: we tell you without undue delay after we become aware of a personal data breach.
  • At the end: we delete or return the lead data, unless the law requires us to keep it, and keep only the opt-out list so no one who opted out is contacted again.
  • Audits: we give you the information you need to show this agreement is kept.

Changes and law

We may update these terms. The version you accepted applies to that engagement; a new version applies to a new engagement once you accept it. Danish law applies, and disputes go to the courts of Denmark.
